THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) and the Ultimate Fighting Championship® organization today announced the UFC® Undisputed 3 playable demo is now available for free download via Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360®video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, as well as PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. Consumers will explore a fantasy UFC matchup between current UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. In addition, they will relive a classic PRIDE® Mode rivalry between renowned UFC fighters and former champions Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Wanderlei Silva. The playable demo will also offer mirror matches, enabling consumers to play against friends or opponent AI as the same fighter, in the ultimate test of skill. UFC Undisputed 3 is currently scheduled for release on February 14, 2012 for Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 system.

A few days ago we reported that Mario Party would be getting a ninth entry into the franchise this March with Mario Party 9. The fine folks at Nintendo just released a new trailer for Mario Party 9. The trailer shows off some of the new game mechanics that will have at least half of the Mario Party fanbase in an uproar. Some more Resident Evil news this time in the form of film news, awhile back we reported that Wes Anderson was working on the fifth entry in the Resident Evil films. Well the film has been in production for several months already and today Sony Pictures released the official trailer for the film. Resident Evil: Retribution seems to pick up where Afterlife left off. As you can tell from the trailer even Michelle Rodriguez’s character makes a return, although we’re not sure how they’ll explain it. Anyway Resident Evil Retribution 3D will be released in theaters September 14th I wish I could say, I have high hopes for the film but the last two Resident Evil films were terrible.
