Assassin's Creed III - Confirmed & Cover Art Revealed
Big news out of the Ubisoft camp today, as most of you know Ubisoft has stated that they plan to release a new Assassin’s Creed game every year. For awhile now several rumors had been circulating around the new Assassin’s Creed game. A few days ago it was leaked that the newest game would be called Assassin’s Creed III and features an all new character in the lead role. There was also a rumor that the game would be set in America. Well today Ubisoft has released the pack shot for Assassin’s Creed III which confirms those rumors. As you can see from the cover below, the main character is holding a tomahawk and appears to be Native American. If you look in the background you’ll see a Colonial flag. It’s safe to assume at this point that the next Assassin’s Creed game will take place in America during the Revolutionary War. Assassin’s Creed III is scheduled to hit store shelves for the PS3 & Xbox 360 October 30th 2012.
